Halofuginone hydrochloride is a potent, 18.3 nM Ki competitive inhibitor of prolyl-tRNA synthetase. It is widely used in research for its anti-fibrotic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-cancer properties, with applications in studying TGF-β signaling, collagen synthesis, and pulmonary hypertension in both in vitro and in vivo models.
