Arachidonoyl-N-methyl amide

This analog of the endogenous cannabinoid anandamide is a selective human CB1 receptor ligand with a Ki of 60 nM. It is a valuable research tool for studying cannabinoid receptor signaling and has been shown to inhibit glial gap junction communication at 50 μM in vitro.
