Prostaglandin F2α ethyl amide
PGF2α-NEt is an N-ethyl amide analog of prostaglandin F2α with ocular hypotensive activity. Studies indicate it is hydrolyzed to the active free acid by corneal tissue, supporting its use as a prodrug in glaucoma research involving in vitro metabolism and in vivo intraocular pressure models.
