Rabeprazole sulfone

Rabeprazole sulfone is the CYP3A-mediated primary metabolite of the proton pump inhibitor rabeprazole and is also found as a process-related impurity. This compound is used in pharmacological research to study drug metabolism, enzyme kinetics, and the stability of rabeprazole formulations in both in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
