12-Bromododecanoic acid is a halogenated lauric acid derivative used to synthesize clickable myristic acid analogs and as a crystallographic probe for β-lactoglobulin. It demonstrates antiviral activity, reducing HBV virion DNA in primary duck hepatocytes and inhibiting HIV replication in CEM-SS T-cells with an EC50 of 38 μM.
