BODIPY-Palmitate is a fluorescent palmitic acid analog with excitation/emission maxima at 488/508 nm. It is widely used to visualize and quantify fatty acid uptake and intracellular trafficking in live-cell imaging and metabolic studies, both in vitro and in vivo.
