Chenodeoxycholic Acid sodium salt is a synthetic FXR agonist used to study bile acid metabolism and associated disorders. It has shown neuroprotective effects in iPSC-derived neuronal models of spastic paraplegia type 5 and is applied in research on pancreatic injury and cerebral xanthomatosis, supporting both in vitro and in vivo experimental approaches.
