Maytansinoid B
Maytansinoid B is a potent antimitotic cytotoxin used to construct antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) . It functions by binding tubulin to disrupt microtubule dynamics, causing cell cycle arrest at the G2/M phase and inducing apoptosis. This mechanism is leveraged in both in vitro cytotoxicity assays and in vivo preclinical studies of targeted cancer therapies.
