(R) -SKBG-1 is a small molecule inhibitor of the RNA-binding protein NONO (EC50 = 1.5 μM in 22Rv1 cells) . It downregulates full-length androgen receptor (AR) and AR-V7 splice variant expression, leading to anti-proliferative effects in prostate cancer cell lines and broad transcriptomic and proteomic alterations.
