Y18501 is a potent oxysterol-binding protein inhibitor structurally related to oxathiapiprolin. It demonstrates high efficacy against Phytophthora spp. and Pseudoperonospora cubensis in vitro, showing both protective and curative activity, and exhibits synergistic effects when combined with chlorothalonil.
