This broad-spectrum antibacterial agent (compound 5g) demonstrates potent in vitro activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including MRSA, with MICs of 1-32 μg/mL. It has also shown promising in vivo efficacy by improving survival in murine models of MRSA infection, supporting its use in antimicrobial research.
