HCAIX/XII-IN-7

Compound 3e (hCAIX/XII-IN-7) is a potent small molecule inhibitor of carbonic anhydrase isoforms, with low nanomolar activity against hCA I, II, and XII, and sub-micromolar inhibition of hCA IX. Its selectivity profile makes it a valuable chemical probe for investigating the role of these enzymes, particularly the tumor-associated hCA IX and XII, in hypoxic cancer models in vitro and in vivo.
