Antimycin A2c

Anticancer Agent 141 (Compound AE) is an antimycin alkaloid that suppresses HPV-positive cervical cancer cell growth. It induces S-phase cell cycle arrest and triggers mitochondrial-mediated, caspase-dependent apoptosis. This activity involves ROS-driven ubiquitin-proteasome degradation of the viral E6/E7 oncoproteins, as demonstrated in vitro using HeLa cell models.
