Rp-TTP-α-S is a diastereomer of TTP-α-S that acts as a selective substrate analog for HIV-1 reverse transcriptase, with measured Kd values of 45.7 μM (Mg2+), 27.32 μM (Mn2+), and 39.44 μM (Co2+) . It is utilized in mechanistic enzymology studies to probe nucleotide incorporation and metal ion dependence in vitro.
