Destruxin B
Destruxin B is a cyclic peptide mycotoxin with insecticidal and anticancer properties, derived from Metarhizium anisopliae. It induces apoptosis in cancer cells, such as non-small cell lung cancer, via the mitochondrial pathway and caspase-3 activation, as demonstrated in both in vitro and in vivo studies.
