Leptomycin A
Leptomycin A is a Streptomyces-derived CRM1 (exportin 1) inhibitor that blocks protein nuclear export by disrupting CRM1-NES interactions, thereby suppressing HIV-1 replication. It is a valuable research tool for studying nuclear export mechanisms in virology and oncology, with demonstrated activity in both in vitro and cellular assays.
