Ritolukast
Ritolukast (Wy-48252) is an orally bioavailable leukotriene receptor antagonist that selectively blocks LTD4 and LTE4. It potently inhibits aerosol LTD4-induced bronchoconstriction in guinea pigs with an ID50 of 0.5 mg/kg, making it a useful research tool for studying asthma pathophysiology in vivo.
