Antiparasitic agent-17
Antiparasitic Agent-17 (5u) is an orally bioavailable small molecule that inhibits both Chloroquine-sensitive (Pf3D7, IC50=0.96 μM) and Chloroquine-resistant (PfK1, IC50=1.67 μM) Plasmodium falciparum strains. It is a useful research tool for in vitro antimalarial studies and for investigating oral efficacy in relevant in vivo models of malaria.
