Mitoquinone mesylate (MitoQ) is a mitochondria-targeted antioxidant linked to a triphenylphosphonium (TPP) cation. It potently inhibits TRAP1 with an IC50 of 0.2 μM and is widely used in research on oxidative stress, aging, and neurodegenerative diseases in both cellular and animal models.
