BI8626

BI8626 is a small molecule inhibitor of the ubiquitin ligase HUWE1. It demonstrates protective effects in a spontaneous desiccation syndrome model using NOD/ShiLtj mice. In vitro, it reduces intracellular cholesterol, suppresses markers of T-cell activation like p-ZAP-70 and CD25, and inhibits CD4+ T-cell proliferation, making it a useful research tool for immunology and autoimmunity studies.
