Bryostatin 1
Bryostatin 1 is a CNS-penetrant PKC modulator derived from the marine bryozoan Bugula neritina. It potently binds to both the isolated C1 domain and full-length Munc13-1 protein. This compound is widely used in neuroscience research to study synaptic transmission, with applications in both cellular assays and in vivo models of learning and memory.
