Elisartan
Elisartan is a non-peptide prodrug that is metabolized to the active AT1 receptor antagonist HN-12206. It exhibits antihypertensive activity and is used in research to study angiotensin II pathways in both in vitro and in vivo models of cardiovascular disease.
