Hemorphin-4 is an endogenous opioid peptide derived from hemoglobin beta-chain proteolysis. It exhibits antinociceptive activity and is used in research fields such as neurobiology and pain physiology, including in vitro receptor binding assays and in vivo behavioral studies of analgesia.
