Leucanicidin
Leucanicidin is a macrolide metabolite produced by Streptomyces halstedii with demonstrated anthelmintic activity. It exhibits toxicity against Leucania separata larvae at 20 ppm and shows potent in vitro efficacy against parasitic nematodes such as Haemonchus contortus, with LD50 values ranging from 0.23 to 0.42 μg/ml.
