PENB-L-Glutamate is a photolabile, caged glutamate compound used in neuroscience research. Upon UV light exposure, it rapidly releases L-glutamate, enabling precise spatial and temporal control for studying glutamate receptor function and synaptic transmission in both in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
