19 (S) -HETE
19-HETE is a key CYP450-derived arachidonic acid metabolite in the kidney, produced in response to angiotensin II. When synthesized by CYP2E1, it exists as a mixture of vasodilatory stereoisomers, with the 19 (S) form additionally stimulating renal sodium transport. This compound is utilized in research on renal hemodynamics, hypertension, and tubular ion transport in both in vitro and in vivo models.
