Bongkrekic acid
Bongkrekic acid ammonium salt is a mitochondrial toxin from Burkholderia gladioli that potently inhibits adenine nucleotide translocase (ANT) . It is widely used in research to study mitochondrial dysfunction, apoptosis, and immune responses such as neutrophil extracellular trap (NET) formation, involving p38, ERK, PAD4, and P2X1 signaling pathways in vitro.
