14,15-EE-5 (Z) -E is a structural analog and potent antagonist of vasodilatory 14,15-EETs, blocking EET-induced vascular smooth muscle relaxation by approximately 80% at 10 μM without affecting nitric oxide or prostacyclin pathways. This tool compound is widely used in cardiovascular research to investigate the role of cytochrome P450 eicosanoids in vascular tone regulation, both in isolated vessel studies and animal models of hypertension.
