14S (15R) -EET
14S (15R) -EET is a cytochrome P450-derived arachidonic acid metabolite. It acts as a potent vasodilator of coronary arterioles in vitro and binds to monocyte receptors, but unlike its stereoisomer, it does not inhibit cyclooxygenase. This oxylipin is used in cardiovascular and inflammation research to study eicosanoid signaling pathways.
