Becatecarin
Becatecarin is a water-soluble rebeccamycin analog that acts as a dual topoisomerase I/II inhibitor by intercalating DNA and stabilizing the topoisomerase-DNA complex, leading to DNA cleavage and apoptosis. Its anticancer and myelosuppressive effects have been studied in vivo, and it is a known substrate of the ABCG2 transporter.
