3'3'-cGAMP is a bacterial second messenger with canonical 3'5'-phosphodiester bonds that regulates chemotaxis and colonization. It binds to the STING protein with moderate affinity (Kd ~1.04 μM) and induces IFN-β mRNA expression in L929 cells (EC50 = 40.5 nM), making it a valuable tool for studying innate immune signaling and bacterial cyclic dinucleotide biology.
