Distamycin A
Distamycin A is an oligopeptide antibiotic that binds the minor groove of B-form DNA, preferentially at A/T-rich sequences. It modulates DNA cleavage by enediyne agents and induces apoptosis, making it a useful tool for studying DNA-protein interactions and apoptosis mechanisms in vitro.
