HCA IX-IN-1 (Compound 6f) is a selective carbonic anhydrase inhibitor with low nanomolar activity against the tumor-associated isoforms hCA IX (Ki=9.4 nM) and hCA XII (Ki=17.8 nM) . Its anticancer properties make it a valuable research tool for studying hypoxia and tumor metabolism in vitro.
