Budiodarone tartrate (ATI-2042 tartrate) is an amiodarone analog used as a research compound for studying atrial fibrillation. It functions as a multi-channel blocker, inhibiting sodium, potassium, and calcium currents, and is applied in both in vitro electrophysiology assays and in vivo animal models of arrhythmia.
