12-Hydroxynevirapine
12-Hydroxynevirapine is a key oxidative metabolite of the antiviral drug Nevirapine. It is bioactivated by sulphotransferases (SULTs) to form the reactive 12-sulphoxy-nevirapine, a process studied to understand Nevirapine's idiosyncratic hepatotoxicity and skin rash adverse effects in both in vitro and in vivo research models.
