Firsocostat S enantiomer is the less active stereoisomer of the acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC) inhibitor Firsocostat. This compound is used in biochemical research to study ACC inhibition mechanisms and has been employed in both in vitro enzymatic assays and in vivo models investigating metabolic disorders such as non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) .
