84-B10 is a protective agent against cisplatin-induced nephrotoxicity. It mitigates kidney damage by counteracting ferroptosis, reducing lipid peroxidation and mitochondrial ROS, while restoring antioxidant defenses. This small molecule is utilized in research models, both in vitro and in vivo, to study acute kidney injury and ferroptotic cell death pathways.
