This enzyme, glucose dehydrogenase (FAD) from Pseudomonas, catalyzes the oxidation of glucose to gluconic acid while regenerating NAD (P) H cofactors. It is widely used in vitro for biosensor development and biochemical assays requiring efficient cofactor recycling.
