Nereistoxin
Nereistoxin is a neurotoxic alkaloid isolated from the marine annelid Lumbriconereis heteropoda. It acts as a potent noncompetitive antagonist of nicotinic acetylcholine receptors and is widely used as a pharmacological tool in neurobiological research, including in vitro electrophysiology studies.
