Solidagonic acid

Solidagonic acid is a small molecule inhibitor of the HSET motor protein. It restores bipolar spindle morphology in fission yeast, suppressing cell death, and exhibits herbicidal activity by inhibiting the growth of lettuce and ryegrass seedlings. This makes it a useful research tool for studying mitosis and plant growth regulation.
