Secalonic acid D is a cytotoxic fungal metabolite that induces apoptosis and G1 cell cycle arrest by activating GSK3-β to degrade β-catenin and downregulate c-Myc. It is used in oncology research to study Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathways in various in vitro cancer models.
