Thalifendine chloride
Thalifendine chloride is a demethylated metabolite of berberine, formed by CYP51 at the C-10 position. It exhibits cytotoxic activity against P-388 murine leukemia cells (ED50=0.84 μM) and shows weak antiplasmodial activity against Plasmodium falciparum in vitro.
