Apoptolidin
Apoptolidin is a natural product from Nocardiopsis bacteria that selectively induces apoptosis in transformed glial cells by potently inhibiting mitochondrial F1FO-ATPase (Ki ~4-5 μM) . It serves as a valuable research tool for studying cancer cell metabolism and has demonstrated antibiotic and antifungal properties in vitro.
