This naphthoquinone derivative demonstrates potent, nutrient-deprivation selective cytotoxicity against PANC-1 pancreatic cancer cells (PC50 0.11 μM) by inducing apoptosis and inhibiting Akt/mTOR phosphorylation. It also significantly reduces tumor growth in MiaPaCa-2 mouse xenograft models, supporting its study in pancreatic cancer research under tumor microenvironment-mimicking conditions.
