PB118 is a potent and selective HDAC6 inhibitor (IC50 = 5.6 nM) with multimodal activity relevant to Alzheimer's disease research. It promotes amyloid-beta clearance, stabilizes microtubules via tubulin acetylation, reduces neuroinflammation, and lowers phospho-tau levels in cellular and in vivo models.
