Compound 9j, a Coixol derivative, is a potent anti-inflammatory small molecule that inhibits the NF-κB pathway. It suppresses pro-inflammatory mediators like iNOS, TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-1β in vitro (IC50 = 0.8 μM for NO in RAW264.7 cells) and demonstrates efficacy in vivo in murine edema models.
