Antileishmanial agent-15 (13c) is a potent small molecule active against both promastigote and amastigote forms of Leishmania major, with IC50 values of 0.78 μM and 0.99 μM, respectively. This compound is suitable for in vitro studies of leishmaniasis pathogenesis and for screening novel anti-parasitic agents, though cytotoxicity should be considered.
