SARS-CoV-2-IN-57 ((+) -R-26) is a potent small molecule inhibitor of SARS-CoV-2 replication with an IC50 of 80 nM. It also exhibits high-affinity binding to Sigma-1 and Sigma-2 receptors (Ki = 13.6 nM and 14.4 nM, respectively), making it a useful research tool for investigating antiviral mechanisms and sigma receptor biology in vitro.
