MMP-9-IN-8 is a matrix metalloproteinase-9 inhibitor, showing 42.16% and 58.28% inhibition at 10 μM and 50 μM, respectively. This compound also exhibits anti-cancer activity in vitro, inducing apoptosis in MCF-7 breast cancer cells with an IC50 of 23.42 μM.
