Gluconasturtiin
Gluconasturtiin stimulates feeding in Pieris maculipennis larvae at lower concentrations but becomes toxic at higher levels. This glucosinolate is used in chemical ecology research to study insect-plant interactions, including in vivo feeding assays and investigations into plant defense mechanisms.
